Edinburgh College of Art | Barns-Graham Travel to Italy Award 2015
Scott received the Barns-Graham Travel to Italy Award after graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 2015. He says ‘I took the opportunity to spend a month in west Tuscany visiting the museums and galleries of Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, Viareggio and Siena. My work at the time explored personal overlapped geographies of childhood: place; family; community; and belonging, through a contemporary queered lens. The Award allowed me to also explore, question and review these themes in an international context.’
