Sarah Boulton

Sarah travelled to New York to explore the history and context of Sound Art in the city. She says ‘ I remember walking the streets and visiting many galleries and project spaces and feeling such a wonderful energy around these experimental, expansive art practices, and towards my own ideas for new works. I think it helped me to define something in my practice related to liveness – how sound and voice travels and how intangible experiences can be encountered and documented. I still work with these thoughts now.’
