Millie says ‘It was the first time I’d travelled abroad alone and I absolutely loved it. It sewed a seed for many more solo trips in Europe and South America, which in turn led to a love of (mountain) hiking . Looking back, the trip was a crucial experience for me, both creatively and in a broader context – it was a fantastic opportunity.’
