Wilhelmina Barns-Graham: an artist at work 1940-1992

Presented at Porthmeor Studios, the home of her first St Ives studios, our new photographic exhibition presents Wilhelmina Barns-Graham: an artist at work. Curated by Rebecca Birrell, author of the recently published and highly reviewed This Dark Country: woman artists, still life and intimacy in the early twentieth century, the exhibition looks at moments captured of the artist in her St Ives and St Andrews studios.

The exhibition will be open most days from 13 September to 3 November, but please contact Porthmeor Studios in advance to avoid disappointment! We’ve also added the text and images to our website for you to view at home.
